Taha Karakas was born in istanbul Turkey.

Studied elementary and high school in Capa Ilkogretim and high school
in Istanbul Technical Music Conservatory. He has played and still playing
with variety of well known singers and musicians.

He also participated in one of the biggest turkish Tv channels music
competition and placed as the winner and got awarded.

He has been teaching some private colleges and conservatories and
giving private classes on Turkish Traditional percussion.

Right now he is still working on different traditional percussion projects.
